Diatoms, as shot down a Leitz SM microscope from the 1950s. These algae have glass shells that last a very long time when mounted, and most of these slides were produced in the late 1800s.
Awesome! I've been looking at getting a Leica MDa which was initially for stationary lab use as it has no rangefinder or viewfinder. It does howver have a cold shoe which will allow me to mount an external viewfinder.
@vegetative Nice! I have an MDa as well, it's great fun for zone focusing with a 28mm! All the mechanical smoothness of an M4, with even fewer distractions.
