I would miss the feeling of being imersed, of being gently touched in every part of the body, of travelling in 3 dimensions, the cooling feeling of a swimming pool dip or a warm shower on a winter morning, a feeling of balance! I would miss returning to the womb whenever i want!

  • Hi father, it's been a 25 years ago when I've…

I haven't seen my father over the last 24 years. My parents got divorced when I was 5. It were turbulent and horrible 90s in Ukraine, and many people were in despair trying to find a job. SO my father didn't find anything better as go to reconstruct Grozny city in Chechnya after the Russian war campaign there which destroyed all the town... And he was fine after his first trip there and brought us some presents, but when he went second time there... Suddenly the second war campaign is started, and my father had to literally run from Grozny. He was in depression and started to drink a lot, and in half of year or so my mother gave up and left him. Since that time I hadn't be in contact with my father. Recently, I decided to visit him, and went to the village he lives in. I was scared to see him, but the life taught him hard. He is not a drankard as before, but just a person who was suffering a lot and who is sick... He lost his leg, but not his mind. Fortunately, we were able to have a good conversation. To everyone who had a similar story with some of relatives, I do really recommend to visit them. I felt kind of relieved after that journey, and left many illusions just behind.

Hello dear Lomo friends!! After a 2 month summer break (I was away with not much Internet) I'm happy to be back here! I found these very old shots I took before Photography bacame my eternal love. Shot in the 90s or the 2000s, quite possibly with a point and shoot Minolta Riva and films I cannot remember, at various places in Greece. I "scanned" the printed photos using Google Scan app with my iPhone. I can clearly see two things, one, that my favorite photography subjects haven't changed a lot since then and two, I think I'm getting better at composition and lightning! Let me know what you think!

He aquí un kodak color 200 baratillo tirado con una cámara Belomo soviética de plástico Agat 18k. Hay errores de enfoque, light leaks y la poca definición que da el medio fotograma, pero aún así estoy satisfecho del resultado.
