I intentionally left behind my DSLR and just brought my LC-A+ (a couple of rolls) and a Canon Speedlite 199A flash. Unfortunately, the flash battery was only good for one roll. By the 2nd roll, it was already out-of-sync. The roll was practically wasted. I need my Colorsplash flash back (still with a friend).
An expired unlucky Fuji Velvia 100. It did stuck into the camera, but i did try as well to shoot at something. I did forecast for overlapping. Actually, I don't dislike the results!
I was living in Kyoto, one of the most popular area especially in autumn red leaves season, in my early twenties. But didin't know a lot about photography then. Since I started lomography my strong desire for KYOTO WITH LOMO has been geting bigger and bigger. ( I haven't seen any lomographs of Kyoto ever!) In this autumn I finally could visit there with LOMOs and enjoyed just one day lomowalk. Needed 3 days more at least! I had nice time anyway :)
Double exposure of dolphin and cosmos...
First went to the aquarium and shot dolphins only.
Then waited patiently for two or three weeks till cosmos grow...
Set the dolphin films again and shot flowers only at a cosmos garden.
Used a "half ND filter" or black cloth, to control the amount of exposure. (masking half of the lens with them)
I tried about 100 shots but most of them ended in failure...
I will try this kind of theme again...
The old Mack trucks down at Fred Chase's place. Fred restores Mack trucks and is one of the biggest Mack truck collectors in the world. It's amazing to see what he can salvage from some of these basket cases.
As I spent more time with her, my love for her grew, matched only by her apathy for me. But I didn't care, she was special and she made me feel special. She was popular in a way I could never have imagined. Just walking on grass felt like being on the red carpet and people came to my home day and night. I flattered myself it was me that drew them but I knew deep down they only sought a glimpse of her. She imbued even the most mundane with a surreal beauty and I envied her...envied her and loved her.
Its funny at times after taking a photo you'll say that pic rocks and im sure ive captured it properly but when you get it back from the lab, the pic that u had so much confidence in failed. And the other pics that you have not paid much attention to comes out awesome.
Just some random shots while travelling back and forth to work, etc. Actually thought this was the Holga with 400 iso in it, so everything, except the bulb exposure, turned out underexposed.
