A Right-wing Event, October 1972...

A political rally at Crescenta Valley Park in La Crescenta, CA, October 1972, in support of Gov. George Wallace for President in the 1972 Election, sponsored by the John Birch Society, sparsely attended, everyone very racist and far to the right of Jefferson Davis. Shot the last 5 photos on that roll, then their security guards chased me away, an obvious furry hippie with a big camera, before I could reload. I am guilty of voting for Uncle Milhous in 1972, though.

    @alex34 The area where I live is still VERY far right!! Birchers and Tea Baggers abound, and there's even a White Supremacist group called Crescenta Valley European Cultural Society. Many people, entirely get their news from Murdoch's Fox News. Genghis Khan, for them, was a Liberal. Politics is as crazy as the 1960's, but Rightward, with more money and guns!
