The first atlantic storm of the winter hits Newquay and what a monster it was! 100mph gusts, 15ft swell and driving rain with great sheets of spray being thrown off the sea for good measure. These shots taken with my nikon fm and a cheap zoom, kit saturated, i almost felt as if i was sacrificing it to the elements! I created my own storm with my choice of exposures with the PC1 and my developing regime which involved further experimentation with reticulation, i hope some of you like them!

    It is amazing how much motion, action, a stirring of the imagination in all these photos. I foresee a large mural display down a portion of this cities walk for display of these images in the sunniest of days.
