Chemical Palette on Film: Photos by petitchaton
7 Share TweetWild, young and free -are just a few words to describe Nantes-based the style of Lomographer petitchaton. The daily and average happenings in life are given more liveliness and excitement through their vivid and acid palette.
Documented parties, portraits of friends, selfies, outdoor walks with companions – the daily life of petitchaton looks anything but ordinary through their eccentric way of painting each memory with their camera. Intentional light and color leaks are bright, as if acid spilled on the negatives. Everything is washed and overlaid by intense colors – often monochromatic, sometimes duo or polychromatic.
The photographer uses a lot of specially formulated films like Revolog Tesla, Kono!, Lomography's LomoChrome series (Metropolis and Purple), and the Lomography Redscale XR. And then, they'd pair the films with their Canon AS-1, Lomo LC-A+, the Lomography Supersampler, and Nikon F801.
