Hi, Eric! Tell us a little bit about yourself.

Hello, everyone. I am Eric Zhang, a photographer born in the '80s. I shoot with various themes, but mainly with natural scenery and portraits. I have been in contact with film photography for about 25 years, kind of experience in photography. I have used Minolta 707SI since I was in elementary school. There is no particular reason why I insist on using film to take photos, maybe it is because the film is a good way for me to enjoy the process of photography, or I just cannot give up the feeling of it.

It is not necessary to pursue equipment deliberately. The key is to use photography to express your heart and enjoy the fun of it.

Where did you go? How was your experience using LC-A+ ?

This time I was in a hurry, so I only went to Kangding. I feel that LC-A+ is really convenient to use. The camera is small and light, easy to be carried around. And the automatic metering is very reliable, and there are almost no mistakes. It is very suitable to be used as a portable machine.

In this group of photos, which one is your favorite?

My favorite is the one with the dog. This photo is in fact very ordinary, and the composition and focus are not perfect, but I feel that this photo is very vital, the puppy and the ground are almost the same color, very harmonious. I feel that he belongs to this land, and he is watching me, an outside guest, in silence and confusion.

Please share with us your future plan!

In addition to the LC-A+, I also have a Daguerreotype Achromat 2.9/64 Art Lens, which at first I purely bought for the sake of its beautiful appearance. But after I got it, I found that it is very interesting to use. if you don't install the aperture, it can be used as a soft-focus lens. The highlighted part will have an effect that looks like the holy light, which is very interesting!

I might use Lomography's art lens to shoot some portraits, after all, spring is coming and Lomography's art lens is perfect for spring!
