How do I set the shutter speed and the aperture of my Horizon Kompakt?

The Horizon Kompakt has two fixed shutter modes, either of which you can select using the shutter speed switch located under the rewind wheel.

  • Fast Mode – a white dot is visible. This corresponds to a high shutter speed (1/60 second) and should be used for outdoor photography with lots of sunlight.
  • Slow Mode – a yellow dot is visible. This, on the other hand, stands for slow shutter speed (1/2 second) which is pefect for indoor and night shots.

The aperture is fixed so that means you cannot adjust it and and it yields an excellent depth of field of f/8.
